Thus, for their partner in excellence,TRANSPRESS,CTE TRAILERS BULGARIAdelivered 10 box van semi-trailers, 5 of which wereKrone Dry Liner box van semi-trailerswith standard volume, and the other 5 were Krone Dry Liner Mega models with increased volume. What's interesting about these units is that they're prepared for double-deck loading and are equipped with 12 sets of double-deck Airline rails installed in the side walls at a height of 1,600 mm from the roof, as well as 23 double-deck bars, each supporting a load of just under 1,000 kg. These box van units are designed for increased loading area, with the loading height extended by 90 mm.
The delivery forTRANSPRESSalso includes 5 new standard curtainsider semi-trailers from the new generation Krone Profi Liner. The weight of theseKrone curtainsider semi-trailersis reduced to 6,190 kg (+/- 3%), which means they can carry a greater payload. They come with the award-winning Multilock system, featuring lashing points every 100 mm for load securing. The new generation Krone Profi Liner semi-trailers also stand out thanks to a redesigned door and floor construction.
Both types of box van semi-trailers have been ordered with a Krone telematics system, which allows for position and door control, as well as processing of other operational data for the semi-trailer, sending error messages from the braking system, and indicating whether the semi-trailer is coupled or uncoupled. The box van units have been ordered with 24-month contracts for maintenance and service of the telematics system.
A further 15 plywood body units are yet to be delivered, intended for chassis-cab trucks, which will be especially suitable for TRANSPRESS's palletized operations. As always, the guarantees provided are of particular importance when purchasing semi-trailers. In this case, the manufacturer Krone offers a 10-year chassis anti-corrosion warranty. This is possible thanks to the steel part processing method, which includes shot-blasting and cathodic dip coating (CDC) for corrosion protection, as well as the full chassis powder-coating process and high-temperature curing. All these measures ensure long-lasting rust protection. Due to fully automated technologies implemented, KRONE's semi-trailer chassis are unrivaled in coating quality and also have a very fast production cycle – it takes under 7 minutes to process a single chassis.
