Our company, CTE Trailers, began its journey over twenty years ago, in 2001, in an office in Bucharest. Since then, we've evolved steadily thanks to our constant focus on our mission and nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit. As our inventory and our catalog of products and services expanded, we wanted to broaden our activities into new areas. Consequently, in 2014, driven by the desire to benefit from the know-how of experienced partners from various areas of the transport industry, the CTE Group was established following our association with CTE Solution Special Equipment. Two years later, CTE Rent joined us, and in 2018, we laid the foundation for CTE Trailers Bulgaria and CTE Solution Hungary. All of these moves were motivated above all by our wish to provide CTE Trailers' clients with a full range of services.
With this same approach in mind, this year we've started an exclusive partnership with HeavyGoods.net. Well known in the German transport industry and favored by major players, the software is designed to support transport planning—mainly for oversized cargo, but also beyond. The platform serves companies like Schmidbauer GmbH and KVS Michael Mross e.K., making their planning work easier, as well as local authorities such as BSR, who use it to simulate vehicle maneuvers and street-sweeping routes for Berlin's waste collection vehicles.
Starting this summer, CTE Trailers clients in Romania and Bulgaria will have full access to the platform, which assists with configuring the necessary set-up for their transport project, as well as route simulation, complete with customization options like adding bridges, obstacles, or restricted zones vehicles can't pass through.
